Video Game Art Exhibition

One of the other minor highlights of E3 2009 is Into The Pixel, an annual exhibition showcasing the art of video games. Most of it is concept art from the early stages of game design where the artists are trying to establish the look and atmosphere of the games. The artworks are mainly done in Photoshop or Corel Painter and so are “hand painted” rather than 3D renders or screenshots. The pictures were displayed in the LA Convention Center during E3

  1. wow, that’s pretty cool but I think there should be a section for concept art but also one for in game shots. Many a game has had me just looking around in game in awe at the scope and beauty of it all. very cool idea though.
